Demon’s Souls Remake Confirmed as PS5 Launch Title

During the PlayStation 5 showcase, Sony announced another launch title for its upcoming PlayStation 5 console. Developed by Bluepoint Games and Sony’s JAPAN Studio, Demon’s Souls Remake brings the iconic Soulsborne subgenre back to its origin. A four-minute gameplay trailer shows the player protagonist enter the kingdom of Boletaria, engaging with a number of foes, before finally — predictably — falling to the Vanguard demon.

Demon’s Souls Remake has been confirmed to be an exclusive launch title for Sony’s upcoming PlayStation 5 console, itself having only just received a launch date and price announcement. The console will launch in the US, Japan, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea on November 12, 2020, with the rest of the world receiving it on November 19, 2020.
