Sony Shows Off Demon’s Souls Gameplay

In an all-new State of Play video, Sony released twelve minutes of gameplay footage for the upcoming action RPG Demon’s Souls Remake, narrated by the game’s creative director, Gavin Moore. The game will launch exclusively for PlayStation 5 in Japan and North America on November 12, 2020, with Europe receiving the game on November 19, 2020.

Demon’s Souls Remake is being developed by Bluepoint Games and Sony’s JAPAN Studio. The remake rebuilds 2009’s Demon’s Souls from the ground up, adding new weapons, armor, and items called Grains that add temporary resistances to certain status effects. The game features the classic punishing Soulslike combat, with the player-created protagonist exploring the cursed land of Boletaria. The game will also include online multiplayer features upon its launch.
