Gotham Knights Take Up the Mantle in 2021

Warner Bros. Games and DC have announced Gotham Knights, an open-world action RPG. The game is being developed for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X and is planned to launch in 2021. It will include single-player and two-player online co-op, with announcement and gameplay trailers viewable below.

Gotham Knights takes place following the death of Batman (Bruce Wayne). Players control Batgirl (Barbara Gordon), Nightwing (Dick Grayson), Red Hood (Jason Todd), and Robin (Tim Drake) as they attempt to step up as the new protectors of Gotham City as a new wave of crime spreads through the city, including villains such as Mr. Freeze. The game features five boroughs of Gotham City, with players able to use multiple methods of traversing the city as well as various skills and gear, with the playable characters gaining in power as the game progresses.
