13 Sentinels Introduces Doomsday Event

A new trailer for 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, the new collaboration between developer Vanillaware and publisher Atlus, introduces players to some of the events leading up to the game’s cataclysmic narrative. The game takes place after a catastrophe hits the planet following the arrival of large meteorite-like objects and features time travel elements. Players control pilots of giant mechs called Sentinels in thirteen intertwining stories and use them to fight off waves of attacking kaiju in top-down combat.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim released in Japan last year, and is coming to PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe on September 22, 2020. The game will be available physically and digitally; pre-orders of the physical $59.99 launch edition are now open on Amazon, GameStop, and Best Buy and will include a bonus physical art book while supplies last, while pre-orders on the PlayStation Store will receive a bonus digital art book.
