13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim Goes Underground with Extended Gameplay

PlayStation Underground has a new video featuring an extended gameplay look at Vanillaware’s upcoming 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. Presented with commentary, the preview of the game covers several dialogue-heavy adventure scenes — featuring the characters Juro Kurabe and Natsuno Minami — before finishing off with an early scenario of the game’s tactical combat.

Released in Japan last year, 13 Sentinels will find its way to the PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe on September 22, 2020. The game follows thirteen students from several different time periods as they fight off alien forces using gigantic mechs known as Sentinels. As the characters’ various storylines intersect, players will be given choices that may make or break the ongoing war effort. When not in adventure mode, the game will have players take control of the Sentinels in real-time strategy battles.
