Yo-kai Watch Jam: Yo-kai Academy Y Gets Japanese Switch Date

Level-5 announced that Yo-kai Watch spin off title Yo-kai Watch Jam: Yo-kai Academy Y – Waiwai Gakuen Seikatsu will launch for Nintendo Switch in Japan on August 13, 2020. The game will launch initially as a single-player digital-only title, but will get significant updates including a multiplayer mode. A PlayStation 4 launch is also planned for Japan, but has not been dated.

Yo-kai Watch Jam: Yo-kai Academy Y is set around the elite Y Academy. It stars new protagonist Jinpei Jiba, a member of the YSP Club. The club’s members investigate mysteries around the academy and the surrounding Academy City. No announcement has been made regarding a western release.
