Yo-kai Watch Academy Y Gets New Trailer

Level-5 released its second official trailer for Yo-kai Watch spin-off title Yo-kai Watch Jam: Yo-kai Academy Y – Waiwai Gakuen Seikatsu. The new ninety-second video gives quick glimpses of a number of elements in the game and can be viewed below.

Yo-kai Watch Jam: Yo-kai Academy Y is set around the elite Y Academy. It stars new protagonist Jinpei Jiba, a member of the YSP Club. The club’s members investigate mysteries around the academy and the surrounding Academy City. The game will launch for Nintendo Switch in Japan on August 13, 2020, with a PlayStation 4 version also in development. It will launch initially as a single-player digital-only title, but will get significant updates including a multiplayer mode. No announcement has been made regarding a western release.
