Mary Skelter Finale Adds Story Catch-Up Feature

Compile Heart has revealed that dungeon-crawler Mary Skelter Finale will include a “Before Story” feature that brings players up to speed with the previous events of the series. The feature will let players learn about the stories of Mary Skelter: Nightmares and Mary Skelter 2 and view events from the games, though these events will not be voiced. It will also include bonus galleries featuring videos, images, and music.

Mary Skelter Finale follows six protagonists who have escaped from the living prison known as The Jail only to discover the outer world is filled with the bodies of those killed by executioners known as Genocide Pink. The protagonists are scattered into smaller groups, who aim to converge upon an Overseer Tower floating in the sky in order to make their final escape. Mary Skelter Finale is being developed for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game is set to be released in Japan on August 27, 2020, with no announcement made regarding a western release at this time.
