Additional Mary Skelter Finale Characters Revealed

Compile Heart has provided some new details for its upcoming dungeon-crawler Mary Skelter Finale. The new update introduces one new character and two returning characters, as well as providing details on the game’s combat.

Shira is the new character introduced. She is the youngest sister of the Execution Girls working against the player but is hesitant towards hurting her opponents. She is bratty and tends to try and act tough. Meanwhile, the returning characters are Rapunzel and Sleeping Beauty, who both appeared in Mary Skelter: Nightmares and Mary Skelter 2 and end up together after the protagonists are scattered at the game’s beginning.

Mary Skelter Finale will feature parties made up of a main protagonist plus five other members in turn-based combat, with there being six main protagonists in total. Turns are individual and based on each unit’s speed attribute. Attacks that hit weaknesses and overkill finishers will cause blood to splatter onto characters. This blood can be licked off to activate special skills, or it can be left on to accumulate and cause the unit splashed to enter powerful Massacre and Blood Skelter modes, which grant large bonuses and new powers, though the Blood Skelter mode will cause players to lose control over that character.

Mary Skelter Finale is being developed for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game is set to be released in Japan on August 27, 2020, with no announcement made regarding a western release at this time.
