Megaton Musashi Platforms Confirmed, New Teaser Trailer Released

Level-5 confirmed that the video game entry for its latest cross-media franchise, Megaton Musashi, will be released for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android in Japan. A release window has not yet been announced, but the company released a new teaser trailer for the game ahead of this weekend’s Jump Festa event in Tokyo, where it will have a playable demo.

Megaton Musashi takes place a hundred years in the future, after an invading force called the Dractor takes over Earth, mining it out into a doughnut shape. Most of the planet’s population has been wiped out but there is a special shelter where surviving humans live out near-normal lives while planning for a counterattack. The key to the counterattack is the Musashi, a 60m-high mech that is formed by three smaller robots. The main characters are Yamato Ichidaiji, Ryuugo Hijikata, and Teru Asami, the three pilots of the indvidiual Musashi Units.
