Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Remaster to Release in January

Square Enix has announced that the Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Remaster will be released worldwide on January 23, 2020. The remaster will be available for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. In addition to new voiceovers, dungeons, bosses, and items, Square Enix also revealed that the remaster’s four-player online multiplayer will include cross-play, though did not confirm which platforms will utilise the feature.

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Remaster is a remaster of the original Nintendo GameCube title released in 2004. The action RPG sees players controlling a group of adventures searching for myrrh, a fuel for crystals that protect the world’s settlements from a poisonous miasma. The party carries along a chalice that forms a limited protective bubble against the miasma.
