Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack Announced, New Atelier Ryza Trailers

Koei Tecmo and Gust have announced the Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack, a bundle containing all three games in the Atelier series’ Dusk trilogy on new platforms. The bundle, containing Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk, Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky, and Atelier Shallie: Alchemists of the Dusk Sea, will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. Release dates for the bundle have not been announced, but a further update is set to be provided on September 26, 2019.

The Dusk subseries titles were originally released for PlayStation 3, with Atelier Ayesha launching in North America in 2013, with Atelier Escha & Logy and Atelier Shallie following in 2014 and 2015. All three games were later ported to PlayStation Vita with the Plus moniker.

In addition to announcing the Dusk trilogy bundle, Koei Tecmo also released a pair of new Japanese trailers for the series’ newest title, Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness and the Secret Hideout. The first video focuses on its story, showing some of the major characters, while the second shows part of the game’s synthesis system.

Atelier Ryza is the 21st mainline title in the franchise and marks the start of a new subseries. The game follows Reisalin “Ryza” Stout, who dreams of leaving her dull life. She and her friends explore a forbidden island and meet an old mage who begins teaching Ryza alchemy. Atelier Ryza is set to be released in North America on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch and worldwide on PC on October 29, 2019, with the European PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch releases to follow on November 1, 2019.
