World of Warcraft Classic Available Now

The Battle for Azeroth returns to its roots as Blizzard’s World of Warcraft Classic releases today. The popular MMO celebrates its fifteen year anniversary by launching dedicated servers that call back to a time before the numerous expansions changed the landscape of the world forever. The game will have all the updates up to the 2006 Drums of War patch. World of Warcraft Classic is available at no additional cost for current subscribers.

Blizzard is planning to continuously add content to WoW Classic so players can recreate and relive the many impactful moments that made the game a memorable experience. The classic content will be released through six waves which include the original player-versus-player maps for Warsong Gulch, Arathi Basin, and Alterac Valley, raid dungeons, and limited time events such as the Scourge invasion.
