Persona 5 Royal Set for Spring Release

Atlus held an art exhibit during the weekend at Nucleus Art Gallery in Los Angeles, showcasing the artwork of Persona 5 and Catherine, with the games’ character designer Shigenori Soejima in attendance. During the exhibit, the company announced that Persona 5 Royal’s western release window has been narrowed to the spring of 2020, with a brief new trailer also released and viewable below.

Persona 5 Royal adds a new playable character, Kasumi, and will continue the game into the third semester of the school year in Japan, which runs from January to April. It will also add new locations, new events, new combat strategies, and other features. The game is set to be released in Japan for PlayStation 4 on October 31, 2019.
