The Outer Worlds Announced for Switch

Private Division and Obsidian Entertainment have announced that they will be releasing The Outer Worlds on the Nintendo Switch. The port, being handled by Virtuos, has no set release date and will arrive at some point after the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC version set to release on October 25, 2019. An announcement trailer was put together discussing gameplay elements and the title’s migration to the Switch.

The Outer Worlds is a sci-fi RPG set in Halcyon, a corporatized colony on a distant planet in the far reaches of space. Players assume the role of a colonist, stranded on the planet decades after becoming separated from the rest of their colony. From there, players will navigate the various factions that inhabit the planet. For more information about the game, Pascal Tekaia’s E3 impression can be read here.
