Pillars of Eternity Coming to Switch in August

Versus Evil has announced that Obsidian Entertainment’s Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition will be released for Nintendo Switch on August 8, 2019. The game will be priced at $49.99/£44.99/€49.99, with a 20% pre-order discount available through the Nintendo eShop. The Nintendo Switch version will include The White March: Parts I & II DLC as well as the major PC updates such as the expanded level cap, additional party AI options, and extra difficulty levels.

Pillars of Eternity is a party-based fantasy RPG with players creating their own character from eleven classes and six races. The game is set primarily in the nation of Dyrwood on the world of Eora, with players able to side with various factions in their adventure. Pillars of Eternity was originally released for PC, Mac, and Linux in 2015, with a PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions following in 2017. Its sequel, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, was released on PC, Mac, and Linux in 2018, with PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch releases planned for later this year.
