Trails of Cold Steel II Shows Up on PlayStation 4
Nihon Falcom’s The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II is now available on PlayStation 4 in North America, with its European release to follow on Friday, June 7, 2019. The PlayStation 4 version of the game is available both physically and digitally. North American publisher XSEED Games provided a new launch trailer and screenshots for the game, which are viewable below.
Trails of Cold Steel II was originally released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in North America, winning RPGamer’s Game of the Year award in 2016, with a PC release following in 2018. The PlayStation 4 version of the game features both English and Japanese voice acting, including the 5,000+ additional English lines that were added to the game’s PC edition. The game is the second part of the four-part Erebonian Arc in the wider series that also includes the Trails in the Sky trilogy. Its direct sequel, Trails of Cold Steel III, is set to be released in North America and Europe by NIS America for PlayStation 4 later in 2019.
