Trails of Cold Steel II Coming to PS4 in Early June
XSEED Games has announced the PlayStation 4 version of Nihon Falcom’s The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II will be released in North America on June 4, 2019. The game will also be released for PlayStation 4 in Europe by Marvelous Europe on June 7, 2019. Trails of Cold Steel II will be available in a physical $49.99 Relentless Edition from XSEED Games’ online store and selected retailers as well as digitally for $39.99. Both versions will also be available in Europe.
The Relentless Edition includes:
- Physical copy of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II for PlayStation 4
- Ouroboros emblem pin
- 23-track soundtrack selection CD
- Pack of seven Sept-Terrion cards
- Artwork-only SteelBook case, plus a separate outer package design
Trails of Cold Steel II was originally released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita in North America, winning RPGamer’s Game of the Year award in 2016, with a PC release following in 2018. The PlayStation 4 version of the game will feature both English and Japanese voice-acting, including the 5,000+ additional English lines that were added to the game’s PC edition. The game is the second part of the four-part Erebonian Arc in the wider series that also includes the Trails in the Sky trilogy. Its direct sequel, Trails of Cold Steel III, is set to be released in North America and Europe by NIS America for PlayStation 4 later in 2019.
