Square Enix Shows Kingdom Hearts III Gameplay

Square Enix has released a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts III ahead of the game’s release in North America and Europe next week. The newest video for the game, which was released in Japan yesterday, focuses on its gameplay. The footage highlight its changes to Keyblades, with Sora able to equip multiple Keyblades that can now transform as well as target multiple enemies at once. It also shows magic, special abilities based on Disney rides, summons of Disney characters, link attacks, the returning Gummi Ship, and some of the mini-games.

Originally announced in 2013, Kingdom Hearts III is the third mainline game in the Kingdom Hearts series and once again follows Sora, Donald Duck, and Goofy as they travel to various worlds from Disney franchises. Kingdom Hearts III is set to be released on January 29, 2019, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
