QOTW – Fire Emblem Three Houses. Being able to once again enjoy a Fire Emblem game on a home console is a welcome development for the series. Of course, the portability of Switch really presents the best of both worlds for fans.

In addition, the E3 trailer seems to indicate that this installment takes some direction from the Tellius games. If that turns out to be the case, it will be a huge draw for many long-standing fans of the franchise.

    Cyberpunk if it happens

Kudos to Anna Marie for her positive comments regarding Octopath Traveler. Could not agree more!

Persona Q2. I’m pretty sure the only reason it hasn’t been announced for the west yet is that they’re trying to get out of the Etrian Nexus marketing cycle.

In Smash Ultimate World of Light, I don’t think the “increased rewards” for equipping the wrong type of spirit are worth the effort for the “Legend” rank, four-star spirit battles (the Jeff battle is one early example). Those tough-as-nails battles are deliberately balanced around the player amassing every possible advantage from their skill tree and their spirits.

Equipping the wrong type of spirit for “increased rewards” works best when “awakening a captured fighter”, since those battles have no gimmicks and high base rewards.

QoTW: I’m looking forward to the Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr.’s Journey remake the most, because I enjoyed both the original game and the Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions remake. Other than that, I’d rather focus on backlog games instead of new games in 2019.

Alex stopped me from getting in the fantasy football play-offs AND got to play Yokai Watch 3 in English before me. Shaking my fist in his general direction.
