Wizard’s Symphony Receives First Trailer

Arc System Works has released its first trailer for the upcoming dungeon-crawling RPG Wizard’s Symphony. In addition to the two-minute video, viewable below, the company also provided a new set of images and some additional information about various aspects of the game.

The new details primarily concern recently-revealed characters Silvia Milsteen and Shisui Kurenai. Silvia is an elf who fights with a magical sword. After a sheltered upbringing, she visits the tour company for which the main protagonist Alto works as a guide. Meanwhile, Shisui is a mercenary swordsman who is on a journey to discover a greater purpose and meaning for his life. The course of this journey leads him to encounter Alto and his friends.

Wizard’s Symphony is a revival of Arc System Works’ Wizard’s Harmony series, which featured three titles released in Japan in the late 1990s. The game is set twenty years after the events of the original game in a fantasy world that is currently experiencing an economic bubble as a result of an increased number of adventurers. Wizard’s Symphony will release in Japan on February 28, 2019, for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. No announcement has been made regarding a western release.
