Zanki Zero Receives Update in Japan

Spike Chunsoft has released the 1.03 version update for its survival RPG Zanki Zero: Last Beginning in Japan. The primary feature of the update is the addition of a New Game+ mode that lets player carry over various things to a new game. The update also includes improvements to item management, as well as numerous balance adjustments and bug fixes.

Zanki Zero is developed by Spike Chunsoft along with Lost Dimension developer Lancarse. The game sees players controlling a group of eight clones on Gareki Island. The clones are supposedly the last remnants of humanity, and have a shortened lifespan of just thirteen days, but can be brought back as new clones by a special machine that retains their memories, personalities, and skills. The game is set to be released in North America and Europe for PlayStation 4 and PC in spring 2019.
