Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales Available on GOG.com

CD Projekt Red’s Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is now available for PC via GOG.com. The game’s release comes with the official launch of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game, upon which the title is based, following the start of its open beta last year. Thronebreaker will let players unlock cards for use in Gwent‘s multiplayer.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales started off as a single-player story campaign for the standalone release of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game before being changed to a separate release. The game is set before the trilogy of Witcher games and puts players in the role of Meve, queen of the Northern nations of Lyria and Rivia, as she deals with an invasion from the Nilfgaardian Empire. Thronebreaker features various management aspects as well as choices and consequences, with its combat system based on the Gwent card game. Both Thronebreaker and Gwent will release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on December 4, 2018.
