Level-5 Shows Some Yo-kai Watch 4 Gameplay

Level-5 has released both a new trailer and a gameplay video, both originally debuting during TGS, for its upcoming title Yo-kai Watch 4.  The videos show the new behind-the-back third-person perspective and real-time combat system as the series makes its debut on Nintendo Switch, as well as highlighting the game’s trio of protagonists.

Yo-kai Watch 4 is currently planned for release in Japan in spring 2019. Those looking to read more about the game can check out Sam Wachter’s impression from last month’s TGS. No announcement had been made regarding a western release, but the previous game, Yo-kai Watch 3, is set to be released for Nintendo 3DS in North America on February 7, 2019, and in Europe in spring 2019.
