Borderlands 2 to Drive its Way to PlayStation VR

2K Games and Gearbox Software have announced that they will be releasing a virtual reality version of Borderlands 2 to be known as Borderlands 2 VR. The game will arrive on PlayStation VR for $49.99 on December 14, 2018. Those who pre-order will receive a PlayStation 4 theme featuring the game’s Vault Hunters: Salvador, Maya, Axton, and Zer0.

New changes will be brought to Borderlands 2 VR to help players transition to the virtual reality. Players will be able to aim in real-time and view weapons from all angles. The ability to slow down time, known as the Bad Ass Mega Fun Time (BAMF Time), will be given to players to help set up future attacks. Teleporting will also allow players to glide across the map using the point features on the Move controllers. Traditional DualShock controls will be available as well. Character classes and abilities have also been updated to make use of the new control schemes and menus have received an overhaul as well.
