Mary Skelter Releases on PC This Week
Ghostlight has announced that the PC version of Compile Heart’s Mary Skelter: Nightmares will be released this week, on Thursday, July 19, 2018. The game will be available through both Steam and GOG.com, priced at $24.99 with a 40% launch discount.
Mary Skelter was originally released for PlayStation Vita in 2017. The gameĀ is a turn-based first-person dungeon-crawling RPG and follows the main character Jack and five Blood Maidens as they attempt to escape from a mysterious underground jail. A sequel, Mary Skelter 2, recently released for PlayStation 4 in Japan.
So whatās the deal with the distance number shown during battle?
I believe that shows up when a powerful boss-strength monster appears. Both the screenshots seem to be taken when standing right in front of it, so I assume it’s a bit more useful when that’s not the case.
When Nightmares arrive to chase you, there’s a distance number that tells you how close they are. If you’re able to simply outrun them, they’ll stop pursuing you for a time. You can also temporarily stun them to get away.
