Level-5 Reveals Western Release Plans for Inazuma Eleven Ares

In a press release from its “Level-5 abby” subsidiary based in Santa Monica noting the company’s twentieth anniversary, Level-5 revealed that it is planning to release Inazuma Eleven Ares in both North America and Europe. The game is set to be released for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan in fall 2018, with a mobile version also coming to iOS and Android; the newly-revealed western release is planned for 2019 — following the broadcast of the latest animated series — with the platforms and publisher not yet confirmed.

Inazuma Eleven Ares is set in an alternate world to the main series, taking place shortly after the events of the first game with the events of the second game not occurring. All three games of the original trilogy and the first two games of the sequel Go trilogy were released in Europe (first two for Nintendo DS, all others for Nintendo 3DS), with only the first game released in North America for Nintendo 3DS.
