The Banner Saga Marching on to Switch

Stoic has announced the release date for The Banner Saga, the first installment of its nearly-completed trilogy, on the Nintendo Switch. The game will arrive on the platform on May 17, 2018. The company plans to release both remaining titles in the series to the Switch as well, with the upcoming The Banner Saga 3 releasing simultaneously with the PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions on July 24, 2018. There is no confirmed release date for The Banner Saga 2.

The Banner Saga is a turn-based tactical RPG featuring hand drawn art and a story laden in Viking myth. Players control a viking clan as they combat a menace known as the Dredge that seek to destroy them. The game follows two concurrent story lines, with decisions that can affect the outcome of the game.
