Final Fantasy XII Launches on PC

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is now available on PC via Steam for $49.99/£34.99/€49.99. RPGamers who purchase the game before February 8, 2018, will receive a 20% discount, an exclusive Steam wallpaper created by original game artist Kamikokuryo, as well as a three-track digital music compilation. Square Enix has also released a three-minute-long launch trailer, viewable below.

In addition, a special program highlighting the new features of the PC version will take place on Friday, February 2, 2018, at 12:00 a.m. PST. During the program, producer Hiroaki Kato and director Takashi Katano will answer questions from fans on Twitter. The program, complete with English subtitles, will be available on Square Enix’s Final Fantasy YouTube channel.

The Zodiac Age is a port of the PlayStation 4 remaster of Final Fantasy XII released in 2017. In addition to the improvements that the PlayStation 4 version added to the original, the PC version supports sixty frames per second framerates, 21:9 ultra-wide monitors including multiple monitor support, all three background music options unlocked and available from day one, new configuration options to maximize license points and money owned, and a new menu feature that allows for earlier access to New Game Plus.
