Darkest Dungeon Gets Xbox One Release Date

Red Hook Studios has announced that its gothic turn-based RPG Darkest Dungeon will be released for Xbox One on February 28, 2018. The game will initially be available as the Darkest Dungeon: Crimson Edition, which contains both the base game and the Crimson Court DLC and will be priced at $24.99, until April 29, 2018. After this, it will be replaced by separate store entries for the base game, the Crimson Court DLC, and Darkest Dungeon: Ancestral Edition, the last of which contains the base game plus the Crimson Court and Shieldbreaker DLCs. The base game will be priced at $24.99, the Crimson Court DLC at $9.99, and the Ancestral Edition at $34.99. The Shieldbreaker DLC will also be available on its own from February 28, 2018 for $3.99.

Darkest Dungeon was originally released in 2016 and is currently available for PC, Mac, Linux, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, and iPad. A third piece of DLC, The Color of Madness, is planned for release later in 2018.
