Nintendo revealed that its will be shutting down online functionality for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U software this April. Players will still be able to play offline and redownload software and content, however.
Nintendo confirmed the March 2023 shutdown date for the eShop on Wii U and 3DS systems. In addition, one particular Fire Emblem title will be removed from sale a bit earlier in multiple regions.
Nintendo is shutting down its Wii U and 3DS eShops. Players will have until March 2023 to pick up any additional titles they want on the systems.
