The Waylanders Teases Long-Lived Characters

Gato Salvaje Studio teased additional details for its coming party-based RPG The Waylanders. The update introduces a pair of long-lived characters who are available in the game’s Medieval Era section, set long after most of the other mortal party members from the Celtic Era have passed away.

The first chracter is the druid Amergin, who is one of the first characters to join players and has been kept alive by a magic that is slowly fading from the land. The second character is the immortal Nazhedja. The Mourian Seer’s appearance is tied to the strength of the land’s magic, with its diminishment resulting in her looking more aged.

The Waylanders sees players travelling with up to nine party members as they switch between Celtic and Medieval time periods. The game is currently on Steam Early Access and GOG.com Games in Development, and is planned to fully release for PC on February 2, 2022.
