Wildmagic Frontier Shows Co-op Gameplay

Sky Castle Studios released a new trailer for its tabletop-style deckbuilding tactical RPG Wildmagic Frontier. The nine-minute video features Ify Nwadiwe, Jasmine Bhullar, and Jenna Stoeber, who go through a short adventure involving battles on diorama arenas. The video comes following the game surpassing its $100,000 goal in an ongoing Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign. The campaign is set to run until October 16, 2026. Those who pledge at least $40 will receive a digital copy of the game as part of their backer rewards.

Wildmagic Frontier sees players recruiting companions, while building decks and taking on expeditions solo or with up to two friends. Expeditions are built around tactical battles taking place on dioramas created through physical and 3D sculpting. Players can create characters and miniatures through Sky Castle Studios’s Hero Forge tool and import them into the game. Between expeditions, players return to their Frontier town to unlock new characters, mechanics, and adventures. The game is in development for PC.
