Shadow of the Road Receives Another Story Trailer

Another Angle Games and Owlcat Games released a new trailer for Shadow of the Road. The two-minute “Nippon Divided” story trailer gives an introduction of the game’s scenario, where the forces of the Shogunate and the Emperor battle in a steampunk version of 19th-century Japan.

Shadow of the Road is in development for PC, with a demo currently available on Steam. Players take on the role of a master strategist behind a team of fighters, each member with their own motivations, as supernatural yokai also enter the fray. Player decisions can put characters on different paths as well as impact their relationships.
