Crescent Tower: Rising Announced

Publisher AMATA Games and developer Curry Croquette have announced Crescent Tower: Rising. The game is a follow-up to last year’s 8-bit dungeon crawler Crescent Tower. The game is currently planned to release for PC via Steam, though a release date has not been announced. It will support English, French, German, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Korean language options.

Like its predecessor, Crescent Tower: Rising takes place in a fantasy world, where the city of Mayirdoam sees the Crescent Tower appearing every fifty years. The top is said to host a jewel that grants any wish and of a potion of immortality, with the Logbook of Bravery, a record left by the one closest to reaching its pinnacle, inspiring new adventures to try and conquer it. It features a five-chapter story follow the intertwining fates of multiple protagonists.

The game features turn-based combat inspired by classic RPGs. Players can freely select a party from fourteen different classes, with players able to customise characters skill sets by arranging class skills as skill blocks. Mapping out the game’s overworld is said to be important in the game, which is said to contain around 15-25 hours of content.
