Thousand Hells: The Underworld Heists Launching in September

Developer A Sharp and publisher Kitfox Games announced that text-based narrative RPG Thousand Hells: The Underworld Heists will release on September 8, 2026. The game will be available for PC and Mac via Steam, with a new trailer viewable below.

Thousand Hells: The Underworld Heists takes place in a new world to the developer’s previous titles King of Dragon Pass and Six Ages. The game sees the player character and their recruited team take on a mission that requires them to descend into hell. They aim to survive while looking to fulfill a contract with the mysterious Ambassador, which changes with every mission. The game’s trials are inspired by various myths from proto-Indo-European, Norse, and Mesopotamian cultures, as well as the works of Heironymus Bosch.
