Fading Echo Releasing This Month
Publisher New Tales and developer Emeteria announced that action-adventure RPG Fading Echo will release for PC on July 21, 2026. The game will be available through Steam and the Epic Games Store, priced at $19.99. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game are planned to release later this year.
Fading Echo puts players in the role of “One”, who is gifted with the power of Æther and tasked with defeating a mysterious force known as the Paradox in order to save a fracturing multiverse. Players can shift between human and water blob forms as well as manipulate water across liquid, vapor, and ice states. Every element in the game’s world is said to react dynamically to the player’s actions to enable its environmental puzzles and combat encounters. The game’s voice cast includes experienced cast members such as Samantha Béart, Laura Bailey, Matt Mercer, Liam O’Brien, Sam Riegel, and Jasmine Bhullar, with the soundtrack composed by Maxwell Sterling.
