The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion originally released for PC and Xbox 360 in 2006, with a PlayStation 3 version released in 2007. It takes place in the province of Cyrodiil on the continent of Tamriel. Players control a customised character who starts off as a prisoner in the Imperial City, but is swiftly tasked with helping prevent the destruction of Cyrodiil. Players have free rein to explore the game’s open world and participate in various other questlines around the region.
