Bancho the Chef Announced
MINTROCKET has announced Bancho the Chef, a prequel to Dave the Diver. The game is billed as a mixture of cooking simulation and light RPG progression and follows Bancho’s culinary journey across Asia prior to the events of Dave the Diver. It is in development for PC and consoles, with PlayStation 5 confirmed, though a release window has not yet been announced.
Bancho the Chef sees Bancho travel to various regions that include Japan, Korea, and China as he studies regional cuisines, builds his reputation, and learns new cooking techniques. Players will participate in missions, mini-games, exploration, and cooking practice while fulfilling requests from locals. It also includes other activities such as fishing.
