Starfinder: Afterlight Public Beta Test Announced
Epictellers Entertainment announced a public beta test for cRPG Starfinder: Afterlight. The beta will be available from March 19, 2026, and include around an hour of content from the game. It will let players choose from three pre-made characters and sees them crash-land in the Entertainment District of Hivemarket on Akiton, where they meet their first companions and begin investigating the fate of Captain Khali. Those interested in participating can sign-up via Steam.
Starfinder: Afterlight is set in Paizo’s Starfinder tabletop RPG universe and is being developed for PC. The game features turn-based combat based on the rules of Starfinder Second Edition. It lets players assemble and lead a crew of misfits, each with their own stories and moral dilemmas. They venture into the Pact Worlds, discovering cosmic wonders and facing a threat that looms over the entire galaxy, with the game billed as featuring a branching narrative with hundreds of unique paths based on the player’s choices. The game underwent a Kickstarter campaign late last year.
