Fantasy Tactical RPG Terrinoth: Heroes of Descent Releasing in Spring

New Tales and Artefacts Studio have announced Terrinoth: Heroes of Descent. The game is a high fantasy tactical RPG based on the Descent tabletop game universe. It will release for PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in spring 2026, and including solo and co-op play. A demo is available to try out on Steam.

Terrinoth: Heroes of Descent is set one year before the events of Descent: Legends of the Dark in the troubled lands of Terrinoth. The game sees players form a party of adventurers and take them across locations across Terrinoth, with its story expanding upon the lore of the tabletop game series. Players can choose to undertake a full story campaign or singular one-shot missions. Dungeon exploration is done in real-time, before switching to turn-based combat where positioning, elevation, and line of sight play important roles.
