Encounter: The Lost Cards Fully Released on Steam

Solo developer Salvatore Grosso has fully released turn-based roguelike Encounter: The Lost Cards for PC via Steam. The game, which had been in Early Access since October 2025, is available for $9.99, with a 15% launch discount until February 9, 2026.

Encounter: The Lost Cards is themed around tarot cards, with players controlling an adventurer pulled into a conflict between angels and demons. The must seek out the lost Major Arcana by battling foes, dealing with merchants, and making decisions.

The game does not include a world map, with players instead “travelling” through a deck of encounters. The game’s turn-based combat is built around an action economy, with each move using up energy or other resources. Players will need to manage resources, as items can break and inventory space is limited, as well as try to chain action together for combos.
