Where Winds Meet Launching for Mobile Next Week
NetEase Games and Everstone Studio announced a release date for the mobile version of Where Winds Meet. The free-to-play open world action RPG will launch on Android and iOS on December 12, 2025. Pre-registrations for the mobile version are now open on the official website, Apple Store, and Google Play.
Where Winds Meet is currently available for PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store) and PlayStation 5. It is set in the years leading to the start of the Northern Song Dynasty in China (second half of the 9th century CE). Players take on the role of a wandering swordsman, who must choose whether to uphold their moral code or live for themselves in a time ravaged by fighting. The game features fast-paced Wuxia-style combat, and implements many aspects of Chinese martial arts.
Where Winds Meet will launch with two regions: Qinghe and Kaifeng. Each region contains its own story arc and contributes towards the game’s storyline and the reveal of the player character’s past. Following its launch, the game will have a seasonal update model, with each season lasting around three months. The seasonal updates differ in focus, with some adding new regions and characters to advance the plot, while others will include new gameplay elements, time-limited activities, or upgraded social features and character progression.
