Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection Gets New Trailers, Pre-Orders Open

Capcom released two new trailers for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, the latest title in its Monster Hunter Stories spin-off series. The first video, which is five minute long, introduces the game’s setting and cast. The second video, which lasts three-and-a-half minutes, reveals the threat looming over the world and advertises the game’s pre-orders, which have now opened. The company also updated the game’s official website with some extra character and monster information.

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection will release on March 13, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. In addition to its Standard Edition, priced at $69.99, it is available in a Deluxe Edition and a Premium Deluxe Edition. The Deluxe Edition, which costs $89.99, includes the full game, the additional side story Rudy’s Tale (scheduled for release in Autumn 2026), and the Special Outfit Set featuring layered armor for companions, additional Rudy outfits, and hair options for the player character. The Premium Deluxe Edition, priced at $99.99, comes with the Deluxe Edition and additional companion layered armor, hair options, and Rudy outfits, which will also be available to purchase separately.

Like previous entries, Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection puts players in the role of a Monster Rider, someone who partners up with and raises monsters. The game’s setting features two major nations, Azuria and Vermeil, which are facing a crystal encroachment that is destroying the environment. Meanwhile, the twin Skyscale Rathalos hatch, which is a supposed portent of destruction from a civil war 200 years ago. Players control the heir to Azuria, who sets out to investigate the phenomena impacting the world, joined by Eleanor, the princess of Vermeil, who offers to act as a hostage.

Fascinated by the screens since I saw them, video games are a sorcery I quickly became obsessed with. This passion culminated with the discovery of the RPGs. At that time, they were likely the sole titles where story and world building mattered as much as gameplay. Now, I am writing about them, especially my favorite ones: the JRPGs!
