The Use of Life Fully Releasing in November

Playism and Daraneko have announced the gamebook-style RPG The Use of Life will exit Early Access and fully release for PC on Steam on November 26, 2025. The full release will see the game increase in price from the current $17.99 Early Access price to $19.99. The game has been in Early Access since May 2022.

The Use of Life follows main character Goshe on a fantasy adventure, with his choices impacting his attributes, resources, status, and those he encounters. The game’s multiple endings are intended to be neither outright good nor bad. Combat is command-based with QTE elements, while certain events use dice rolls to determine their outcomes.
