Ananta Gives Gameplay Demonstration

NetEase and Naked Rain released a new video for upcoming free-to-play open-world RPG Ananta. The ten-minute video shows footage from the game’s Tokyo Game Show demo, featuring melee combat, set-piece events with shooting, and driving elements.

Ananta sees players take on the role of an elite Agent within the A.C.D. (Anti-Chaos Directorate). They are tasked with dealing with strange incidents around the city, including paranormal phenomena and toilets racing through traffic in the streets. Players can freely explore Nova City and its locales, as well as other interconnected cities. Combat missions are designed to make use of the environment, while various other urban life activities are available to partake in. The game is being developed for PC, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android, though a release window has not been announced.
