Gods, Death & Reapers Announced

During Gamescom’s Future Game Show, Wolcen Studio unveiled its latest project Gods, Death & Reapers. The title is a free-to-play action RPG with PvPvE and extraction gameplay. It is in development for PC, with no release date as of yet. Players can access a closed Alpha playtest through Steam. The playtest is available to players in North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, Korea, Taiwan, and China until August 24, 2025, at 11 AM PDT/8 PM CEST.

Gods, Death & Reapers is set in an afterlife where gods have perished but where mythology is real. The player takes on the role of an individual chosen by Death to restore balance to various mythological realms, starting with Norse Mythology. The game features an Extraction mode where players enter maps with different objectives and treasures and face off against enemies and other players to claim loots. Only successful extractions grant rewards that can be exchanged with other players. In their sanctuaries, players can customize their loadouts and upgrade their bases. More content and modes such as a single-player story campaign and a multiplayer co-op are planned.
