Frosthaven Early Access Release Set for End of July

Arc Games, Asmodee, Cephalofair Games, and Snapshot Games announced that Frosthaven will release for Early Access on PC on July 31, 2025. The fantasy tactical RPG, based on the board game of the same name, will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store. The Early Access version will be priced at $39.99, and will also be available with spritiual predecessor Gloomhaven.

Frosthaven sees players using action and movement cards that work together with cards held by their teammates. It will include an in-depth tutorial as well as varying difficulty levels. Players will also build up their outpost, building and upgrading structures that unlock new features and mechanics. The Early Access version is said to contain around a third of the planned content for the full release, including six starting and two unlockable playable characters as well as forty quests and over a hundred choice-driven events. The game is expected to spend around a year in Early Access, with major updates planned roughly every three months.
