Wander Stars Launching in August

Publisher Fellow Traveller and developer Paper Castle Games announced that 1990s anime-inspired turn-based RPG Wander Stars will release on August 1, 2025. The game will be for PC and Nintendo Switch. A closed beta will be available soon, with those interested in participating able to sign-up here. The beta will include the first three episodes of the game.

Wander Stars follows Ringo, a martial artist looking for her brother, and Wolfe, a scoundrel running from his past, across ten story episodes. The game lets players create their own attacks by combining different words. It features randomised maps, with players able to replay previous story episodes to find any missed events or earn more permanent upgrades.
