The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Gets Estelle Character Trailer, Western Physical Editions Announced

Nihon Falcom released a new Japanese trailer for The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, its full 3D remake of The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, the first game in the long-running Trails series. The video is a minute-long character trailer focusing on protagonist Estelle Bright, with additional character trailers planned to follow.

In addition, western publisher GungHo Online Entertainment announced two special physical editions for the game: a $79.99 SteelBook Edition and a $199.99 Bracer’s Edition. Pre-orders will open on June 17, 2025. In North America, standard physical editions will be available to pre-order from selected retailers, while the collector’s editions will be available through Limited Run Games. In Europe, both standard and collector’s editions will be available through Clear River Games. Meanwhile, a $79.99 Digital Deluxe Edition will include the game and a Season Pass that will be sold separately for $24.99. The contents of both physical editions are as follows:

• Launch Celebration Pack including exclusive DLC costumes and item sets (also available to all players two weeks after the game’s launch  for a one-month period)

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky is the first game in the series taking place on the continent of Zemuria. It follows adopted siblings Estelle and Joshua as they set out to become Bracers, a group that acts to protect the safety of the world citizens. Acting as junior Bracers, they look to become full-fledged Bracers by taking on jobs across the Kingdom of Liberl. The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter will release worldwide on September 19, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
